Lestat's Coffee House, at 3343 Adams Ave., is named after Rice's most memorable character from “The Vampire Chronicles” series. It's open 24 hours.
Vampires stalk many of Nancy Holder's horror stories and novels, including books based on the “Buffy” and “Angel” shows. A graduate of UCSD, the Bram Stoker Award-winning author graduated from UCSD and currently is a writing instructor at UCSD Extension.
